Need a break from football? Try tuning in to the Puppy Bowl XX and Kitty Half-Time Show. The rousing canine match takes place on Sunday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The show will be carried on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max and discovery+.
More pups will be competing this year for Team Ruff and Team Fluff. On this 20th Anniversary of Animal Planet there will be 131 pooches playing on the field. All kinds of dogs will be competing. The players range in size from the player with the smallest dog, Sweetpea weighing in at 1.7 pounds, to the Great Dane Levi, still a pup at 70 pounds. They are all ready for some romping action and for their close-up on the water-bowl cam.
It’s a lot of rolicking fun to watch. Pups compete for the coveted Lom-Barky trophy while celebrating the work of several rescue centers and shelters. Country singer Miranda Lambert will introduce Puppy Bowl’s annual ‘Adoptable Pup’ segments along with a few kittens - from 14 shelters and rescues across the country that will be available for adoption during the game. From February 7-14, Warner Bros. Discovery is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society and will match donations to cover adoption fees for their shelters nationwide.
At 1 p.m. ET, go behind-the-scenes of the Puppy Bowl draft with exclusive puppy interviews, where fans will learn more about each player’s breed mix and other unique traits from the Wisdom Panel™ dog DNA test that could help determine who will have a furry leg-up on the field.
